O Death, where is your sting?

Many Christians do not realise the truth that Jesus Christ is risen from the dead.

This is the reason they go and search for their loved ones in the burial grounds. Those who sleep in the Lord are not in the burial grounds but they’re with our Lord Jesus Christ, as He has overcome death.

The foundation of Christian faith is the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We know that Christ rose up from the dead and will never die again because death no longer has dominion over Him.

The resurrection of Jesus was real, physical raising of Jesus’ body from the dead. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Jesus said, “ I am the resurrection and the life, whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.”

He is risen and is our Hope. He conquered death and He makes all things new. He has overcome death, so that, those who believe in Him will have eternal life.

By rising from the dead, Jesus Christ demonstrated that He had cleansed the guilt of our past and is able to help us in our present lives. His resurrection assures us that our future is safe and secure. Without Christ’s resurrection we would have no salvation from sin and no hope for our own future resurrection.

The empty tomb is a proof that Jesus Christ is risen from the dead. O death, where is your sting? O hades, where is your victory?
